This blog used to be somewhat of a negative place.

I take that back. It had a purpose in the beginning and then my life just kind of skidded out of control. And I wrote about it. This blog was full of very raw feelings and emotions. Horrible stories about how I managed to dig my way back up from hell. And start to rebuild a new foundation.    Later, I deleted it because I wanted a clean slate. I regretted that at first but my mind is a very good record. I won’t forget any of it.

Now I am not really sure what the purpose of this blog is. So I’m just going to follow a new philosophy that I have adopted in life and say fuck it. I’m just going to wing it.

  1. Since I no longer have Facebook or your email, I’m sharing this here. I thought you might enjoy reading it. My first thoughts were that this would be great information for you to have the next time a Facebook mother tries to teach you something about things they do not understand.

      • I’m excited to see where this takes us. The more we can narrow down where different traits start, the less people we will have preaching against lifesaving technologies and human decency. Not to mention all of the amazing things we discover and create during the research and testing processes. If we can get Velcro from astronauts, we can get superpowers from geneticists. 😉

  2. I don’t think I’ve told you this in the months since I first started reading your blog, but you are an amazing writer. I really think you should look into turning what you’re already doing into a secondary source of income. You have the talent, the intellect, and the experience.

    • Maybe someday! I have tons of old journals from way back. Staring when I was thirteen. Seriously considering going through them and transferring them here. Once I’m sure I can relive all the old memories of ex. I think I can. I had to go through an old scrapbook a few weeks ago. Like cards from him, petals from flowers he gave me, prom photos, etc…..didn’t shed a single tear! So maybe in time. My sister in law tells me all the time I need to write a memoir.

  3. I know that things are in flux for you and Isla, but hang in there. Know that there are people cheering you on and checking in, praying that things are on the upswing. Give me a shout if you ever need anything, even just someone to listen.
